ECSI is the only privately-run cold storage company in Iloilo City with state-of-the-art facilities and services. Its equipment and machinery are at par with the industry requirements for a cold storage operation, most of which are manufactured by a well known companies in the field.
It is duly accredited by the National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS) to have complied with Good Operating Practices (GOP Certificate No. 13099-144) with “AA” rating.
ECSI has 3 cold storage rooms that can accommodate between 350-400 pallets each depending on the sizes and weight of the products. Storage rental is normally collected on a per box or per pallet basis.
RACKING SERVICE
ECSI has 2 dedicated blast freezers for this specific operation. One blast freezer has a 3.5 metric tons maximum capacity and the other one is 1.5 metric tons. Blasting normally ranges from 4 to 5 hours depending on the state of temperature of the goods delivered. Customers customarily avail this service in conjunction with the racking service. ECSI charges customers on a per kilo basis.

HANDLING SERVICE
ECSI charges the customers for the cost of receiving and withdrawal of their stored goods at a per kilo basis. The frequency of receiving and withdrawal of frozen products is currently being dictated by the customers’ need in response to the market demands.
ECSI provides power recharging of customer-owned delivery vans. It charges customer on a per hour basis.
ECSI delivers customers’ products to any point in the Visayas through its more than 18 dedicated reefer vans . This service is being handled by its sister company—Everest Cargo Services. Trucking fee is collected on a per trip basis.
ECSI has 2 separate cold storage rooms which are non-palletized or has no racking system in place. This is particularly convenient for companies that want complete management and control of their products. Rates are fixed on a per room basis.
