ECSI trucking services gets incorporated

As part of the continued growth of ECSI, its board of directors on its meeting in March 2013 approved to spin off the trucking services of ECSI into one full-blown corporation to be known as [Eli] Everest Cargo Services, Inc. (EECSI) The new corporation is still under the full control of its Operations Manager Kent Louie I. Reyes. EECSI while enjoying market acceptance and satisfaction of its delivery service of frozen foods to various hotels, restaurants and other depots, will start to embark in the delivery of dry goods and other items this second semester of 2013. EECSI is duly accredited by the National Meat Inspection Services (NMIS) in its trucking operation.
EECSI is part of the whole ERSI Group of Companies.

ECSI celebrates its 3rd Birthday

The management and staff came together and celebrated the 3rd anniversary of Everest Cold Storage Inc. last June 15, 2013 in a small gathering inside its compound. Aside from close friends and family members of the owners, it was graced by some of its notable customers like Mang Inasal.
The President, Susan I. Reyes shared to the audience the humble beginning of the family business until the realization of their dream to establish a cold storage. The management and staff were inspired by her message.
The celebration was opened by a catholic mass followed by a concecrated prayer of the Operations Manager, Kent Louie I. Reyes, then releasing of white and blue balloons to the sky as a symbol of lifting the petitions and wishes to heaven.
The party was culminated by a showcase of talent in a contest: "ECSI Got Talent", where the operations team headed by Ivan Almanon, Operations Supervisor, emerged as the champion, followed by Logistics and Mechanical teams which garnered 2nd and 3rd prizes respectively.
The whole event was concluded by a heartfelt and teary remarks by the Vice President, Elias I. Reyes.


LBP approves ECSI new financing program

ECSI executives headed by the Chairman & President, Ms. Susan I. Reyes together with the Vice President for Operations, Elias G. Reyes, Jr. ink the 10-year Term Loan offered by Land Bank of the Philippines.
Witnessing the event at ECSI Conference Room on July 5, 2013 are Vivian Canonero, LBP Lending Center Head, Leo Deslate, Account Officer and Anthony Lebis from ERSI Group of Companies..
The new financial package is part of ECSI effort to bring a new height in its operation.
After the dissipation of Typhoon Yolanda (known internationally as Haiyan) - dubbed to be the strongest cyclone in the world with sustained wind of 315 kph., the whole Central and Northern Iloilo together with Capiz Province were placed under the state of calamity.
It was accounted that more than 300 people were dead, 812 casualties and 17 missing in the aforesaid areas. However, more than 1,000 families were left homeless and millions worth of the properties were damaged after the devastation.
ERSI joined the call for aid to certain areas in Concepcion providing feeding to more than 500 children and relief goods to more than 300 households.
Some of the staff of ERSI Group of Companies were also greatly affected by the said event. 10 personnel from EECSI, ESM and ECSI were given financial assistance and relief goods.
